Named after John W. Martin, Governor of Florida from 1925 to 1929, Martin County encompasses over 750 square miles from Jensen Beach to the north, down to Jupiter Island to the south. Located within an area known as the Treasure Coast, whose name refers to the Spanish Treasure Fleet lost in a 1715 hurricane, Martin County boasts some of the most affluent neighborhoods and estates within them while also offering family friendly subdivisions with more affordable, quality homes.

The Treasure Coast offers more than just sun and surf on miles of pristine beaches. Here you will find dozens of golf courses, quality shopping opportunities, fine cuisine and family owned cafes throughout the tree-lined streets of this laid-back, authentic Florida atmosphere.

Martin County offers exceptional schools to its local residents, both public and private, including the renowned college preparatory Pine School in Hobe Sound. Martin County is consistently an A”-rated district by the Florida Department of Education and has always ranked amongst the highest academic performing school districts in Florida’s 67 counties.
