Stuart Named America’s Happiest Seaside Town of 2016 Coastal Living Magazine Ranks Stuart as the Top Happiest Seaside Town


At the beginning of the year, Coastal Living Magazine revealed its list of the Top Ten Happiest Seaside Towns in America. Anyone who has visited the quaint town of Stuart, Florida would not be surprised that Stuart made the list. But locals and visitors alike agreed that Stuart deserved the #1 ranking – so the online voting commenced! Fans were invited to vote for their favorite Seaside Town on Coastal Living Magazine’s website through April 25, 2016.

Well the results are in! We are thrilled to share that Coastal Living Magazine announced that Stuart, Florida secured the title of America’s Happiest Seaside Town of 2016! Stuart was also voted America’s Most Beautiful City in 2008. The award-winning titles solidify Martin County’s reputation as one of the country’s most desirable places to live.

Stuart, located in Martin County, Florida is known for sport fishing and holds the distinctive title of “Sailfish Capital of the World.” With the Gulf Stream just a few miles offshore, Martin County is a boating and fishing mecca.
